Question
Do I need to bring my dog inside when Lawn Dogs comes to scoop?
Short Answer
Yes, please! We love dogs, but for everyone’s safety, we ask that pets be kept indoors or securely separated during service time.

Context
Our team is full of dog people — it’s right there in the name. But even the friendliest pets can get protective when someone enters their yard. Keeping your dog inside during your Lawn Dogs visit helps everyone stay safe and relaxed.
Why We Ask for Pets to Be Secured
Dogs are naturally territorial. Some are curious, others are shy, and a few just want to guard their favorite space. When we enter your yard, your dog might see us as a stranger.
For their comfort and our team’s safety, we can’t work with pets loose in the yard. This keeps your dog stress-free and prevents accidental escapes if a gate needs to be opened.
If we arrive and a dog is outside, we’ll skip the visit and return on your next scheduled day. That visit will still be charged, since your cleanup will take extra time the following week.
How to Make Service Days Smooth
Bring dogs inside or secure them in another fenced area before your scheduled time.
If you won’t be home, add a note in your Sweep&Go Client Portal so our crew knows where pets will be.
Double-check your gate is closed and latched once your dogs are back outside.
We always aim to scoop quickly, quietly, and without stress for you or your pups. When dogs are safely inside, we can do just that.
Tips
Most clients schedule visits when they’re at work or out running errands.
Add “dog inside” reminders to your calendar if you have a regular service day.
If your dog is anxious around new people, we can make a note in your portal for extra care or low-noise visits.
Our team loves meeting every Lawn Dogs family member — we just want to keep tails wagging safely.
