Question
How long does a Lawn Dogs visit usually take?
Short Answer
Most cleanups take 5 to 15 minutes, depending on your yard size, number of dogs, and service frequency. Larger or first-time visits can take a little longer.
One of the best parts of working with The Lawn Dogs is how fast and reliable your cleanup visits are. Our team moves efficiently through each Garden City route so you always get a clean yard without any disruption to your day.
What Affects Visit Length
Every home is a little different, but most factors come down to three simple things:
Number of Dogs: More dogs means more scooping. Each additional pet adds a few minutes to the visit.
Yard Size: Standard ¼-acre lots are quick to service. Larger or multi-section yards may take extra time.
Service Frequency: Weekly or twice-weekly visits are faster since there’s less buildup. First-time or skipped visits usually take longer to catch up.
Your technician will always take the time needed to get a complete cleanup, even if that means staying a few minutes longer.
Our Routine on Service Day
Each Lawn Dogs visit includes:
A quick walkthrough to check gates, pets, and access.
Full yard cleanup — every visible pile removed.
Waste hauled away for disposal off-site.
Optional deodorizing if you’ve added that service.
You don’t need to be home, and there’s no interruption. You’ll get a text or email notification once your service is complete.
Tips
Keep gates unlocked before your scheduled time so we can start right away.
If you’re adding new dogs or changing yard size, update your Sweep&Go Client Portal so we can plan accordingly.
For first-time or one-time cleanups, expect about 30 minutes on average.
We move fast, but we never rush quality. The goal is a spotless yard every time — simple as that.
